Creativity Defined

Britannica.com defines creativity as "the ability to make or otherwise bring into existence something new, whether a new solution to a problem, a new method or device, or a new artistic object or form" and cognition as "the process involved in knowing, or the act of knowing, which in its completeness includes perception and judgment." In my own words, creativity is taking something mundane and making it something fun that catches people’s interest. Meanwhile, cognition is understanding the world around us. In order to be creative, we have to be conscious of what we have to work with. While computing, we need to be cognoscente of the tools we have to use, the needs of our audience, and what has been done before. With those basics, we can be creative while computing.
