The Lourdes Center for Public Health is excited to offer summer internship positions for undergraduate students in our Summer Institute.
The Summer Institute provides a 10-week opportunity for students from a variety of backgrounds and institutions to conduct community-based participatory research in public health. Students will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience in public health research and health care settings. Outcomes from student research will be utilized throughout the Lourdes Health System to reduce health care disparities. Research projects will be conducted in the communities served by Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center in Camden, New Jersey and Lourdes Medical Center Burlington County in Willingboro, New Jersey.
Established in 2006 by Lourdes Health System, the Lourdes Center for Public Health works collaboratively with academic and community partners to identify critical public health challenges, design and implement research, and develop intervention strategies for urban and vulnerable populations served.
