Date: June 4 through August 3, 2007
SYNOPSIS:
An undergraduate research program for undergraduate students in biology, chemistry or related majors interested in gaining experience in research in proteomics and functional genomics. Students will work with faculty mentors and other REU student participants to investigate research questions germane to a variety of biological disciplines, ranging from biochemistry to animal physiology through the lenses of proteomics and functional genomics. Student researchers will receive training in and have full access to state-of-the-art instrumentation.
Support: $4,000 stipend; housing in dorms; complete meal plan; travel to/from Oshkosh
