About the Center

In close proximity to the capital city of Trenton, the Bonner Center cultivates the common ground that exists between the educational mission of the College and the interests and needs of the local community. It does so by creating teaching and learning opportunities that simultaneously build the capacity of TCNJ students and community organizations in Trenton and the region. In so doing, the Center puts the College's main values into action and strives to foster a more enlightened, participatory and egalitarian society.

Bonner Center for Civic Engagement Annual Serve-A-Thon

Wednesday, August 25th, 2010

9:00 am - 2:00 pm

"Sustaining and Advancing Our Community Through Service"

On Wednesday, August 25th the Bonner Center for Civic and Community Engagement will be hosting the second annual Serve-A-Thon: "Sustaining and Advancing Our Community Through Service". This year, the goal is to raise $7,500, which will help support the Center's efforts to mobilize students to address the unmet needs of the community. We are asking each Bonner Scholar to fundraise $100. The campus community and other alumni may register to sponsor a Bonner Scholar. The Serve-A-Thon will begin at 9:00 am and all participants will be working on anti-hunger projects.
