Comprehensive Community Partners and Teams

The Bonner Center has entered into comprehensive partnerships with more than a dozen local community and public organizations.  Each one is the host of a team of Bonner Community Scholars who are guided by a Site Plan, which captures their goals and objectives for the year.   This team also takes the lead in organizing and creating Community Engaged Learning (CEL) Days with the Center staff for the first year students who have expressed an interest in the issue area that their community organization focuses on.   Finally, the Bonners provide the logistical and other support that is needed to facilitate the involvement of other student volunteers and those enrolled in service-learning courses.  There are a number of other organizations that work with the Center on individual projects or experiences.  The list of 2007-2008 comprehensive partners/Bonner Teams are listed below—along with the names of the student Site Coordinators and locations.
