Lost or Stolen Cards
If the Purchasing Card is lost or stolen, the card custodian must perform the following immediately:
Step # 1. Notify Bank of America 1-888-449-2273. The bank representatives are available 24 hours a day. Advise the representative that the call is regarding a lost or stolen TCNJ Visa Purchasing Card. Provide the bank representative with the necessary information. Upon such notification, Bank of America will block the card from any further use.
Step # 2. Notify the College campus police (609) 771-2167 (24 hours) immediately upon discovering that the card is lost or stolen.
Step # 3. You must document the time it was reported, the name of the Bank of America representative and report this information to the Purchasing Card Administrator in the Office of Finance and Business Services immediately (609) 771-2495.
Replacement cards will be mailed to the Office of Finance and Business Services from Bank of America within five business days after being reported lost or stolen. The department chair/director will be notified when the replacement card is available.
A card that is subsequently found after being reported lost or stolen should be cut in half and forwarded to the Procurement Card Administrator in the Office of Finance and Business Services.
