ELECTRONIC TRAVEL FORM
User's Guide
This guide serves to introduce the new web-based Travel Request and Expense Reimbursement Forms to be used by members of the campus community traveling on official college business. This form can be completed by users other than the employee traveling. Logon: https://delphi.tcnj.edu:81/travel/

Section I. Creating a Travel Request
This online Travel Request Form must be completed and approved prior to incurring any financial commitments for the travel. To ensure your travel request is processed correctly, be sure to save after each section. |

| Step 1. To access the electronic Travel Request Form go to the Finance & Business Services Home page at: http://www.tcnj.edu/~budfin/index.html and click on the link: Online Travel Forms
Next click on the link User Login Page. |

Step 2. Enter the email username and password of the person completing the Travel Request Form and click This must be entered in all lower case.

| Step 3 . Enter the user information of the person completing the Travel Request form and click |
|
| Step 4. Click on the link Create a New Travel Request to begin entering information for the employee traveling. |
|
Step 5. Enter the email username of the employee traveling and click Note: This is the email name of the person traveling without the "@tcnj.edu" context. |

STEP 6: Enter the home address for the employee traveling and click |

| STEP 7: Click on Destination Information Enter the employee's destination information such as event, travel dates, in/out of state travel and click |

STEP 8: Supporting Documents: Attach any additional information such as car rental justification, scanned conference itinerary and/or Ethic's Liaison Officer's approval. To add a document click Browse and then Add. To move to the next panel click |

STEP 9 : Enter the faculty absence information for courses missed while traveling and click If you are not a faculty member click to |

STEP 10: Click on the link for Estimated
Expenses. Enter the estimated travel expenses and click |
Click here to see the Estimated Expenses panel.

STEP 11: Click on the link for the Financial Information panel Enter the Peoplesoft Chartfield information, i.e. fund, class, deptid etc that willl fund the trip.
Next enter the monetary amounts and click |

STEP 12: Enter the proper authorization routing email (username only) and click SUBMIT. The email of the supervisor entered must be authorized to approve this travel request.
Note: If the form is created for another employee the employee that is traveling must login to the travel system and review, amend and submit the request approval. |

STEP 13: To view where your travel is in the approval routing process:
Login to the travel form and view the section of the form labeled "Status."

STEP 14: Once the travel request has completed the authorization routing process, the travel request Status will change to "Approved." |

The Travel Request section of the form is now complete. An email notification will be sent to the person traveling when a Travel Request has been fully processed.
