Collegiate Chamber of Commerce

Collegiate Chamber of Commerce The TCNJ Collegiate Chamber of Commerce (CCC) is an organization of dedicated students working towards creating opportunities to network with the local businesses in the area by fostering a relationship with the Mercer Regional Chamber of Commerce and attending their monthly Power Luncheons. The CCC aims to provide an environment for students at TCNJ where they may flourish their entrepreneurial skills by hosting events in conjunction with MRCC members, the Chamber's Young Business Leaders Council, and members of CCC Chapters at other New Jersey colleges.

The MRCC Young Business Leaders Council (YBLC) serves as the mentor group to the Collegiate Chamber of Commerce.

In October, 2009, members of the Collegiate Chamber of Commerce participated in the Educational Workshop the School of Business and the Small Business Development Center ran for the Chamber's Young Business Leaders Council, "The Survival of the Fittest: Sustaining Business Growth in an Economic Shift." See below, forefront.

Senator Inverso

Stephanie Chan (junior, finance), remarked: "This luncheon was a great example of the many exciting opportunities the Collegiate Chamber of Commerce has to offer. Not only were we surrounded by and able to network with business professionals from different industries and businesses such as PNC and Johnson and Johnson, but we also experienced a panel of discussion from the candidates for governor and their representatives."

Diana Perez (sophomore, open options business) added: "Being part of the Mercer County Collegiate Chamber of Commerce has been a wonderful experience. We were welcomed and introduced at the luncheon in addition to meeting people who are working to make a difference in our state."
