"Twitter: Its Implications for Business and Beyond."
While still in his 20s, Jack Dorsey began developing a messaging / micro-blogging tool called Twitter. Usage grew and recently Twitter raised $100M in new private equity funding. Now 32, Jack serves as Chair of Twitter while also working on new initiatives. On Nov. 4th, he spoke to 500+ students, faculty, staff and visitors, in TCNJ's Kendall Hall.
Below, Anthony Czajkowski, Chair of the Dean's Business Student Advisory Board and School of Business Dean Bill Keep, present Jack Dorsey with the 2009 Award for Innovative Leadership.

Dean Keep remarked: "Jack conveyed a thoughtful, candid message meant to encourage students to get their ideas out, to share them, and to accept that some won't work but some will. He described both the difficulty and pleasure of following a passion, and building an organization that is effective and transparent. Though his patient approach to building a profitable business model may a bit unusual, he reinforced messages that we tell our students about having an organization that is responsive to users and capable of growing and changing."
