Dean's Alumni Networking Night
2nd Annual Dean's Alumni Networking Night - May 8, 2008
April 15, 2008 Press Release:
School of Business to host 2nd Annual Dean's Alumni Networking Night
Interim Dean Jack V. Kirnan, left with Jim Gater, '71, TCNJ Alumni Chapter, and Mark Iorio, '79, School of Business Advisory Board (seen in background, Myron Gellman, '86 also of the School of Business Advisory Board) in the Rathskellar.
Dean Kirnan provided an update on the considerable progress and momentum we have made as a School as well as a number of the key strategic initiatives that will help guide our future, including the new Target 2000 campaign which aims to raise awareness among our more than 7,000 alumni for their support in helping us continue to deliver the highest quality business education that we can for our students.
Recently, your School was selected by BusinessWeek as among the Best 96 Undergraduate Business Schools in the country, only one of 3 NJ-based schools to earn that distinction and a clear testament to the high quality value proposition we offer our students. Importantly, your School was the only ranked school in the survey that caters exclusively to undergraduate education. Moreover, the placement rates and starting salaries of our recent graduates have been among the highest in NJ and the country at large. And, TCNJ would be ranked #6 in the country on the percentage of our students participating in internships and #20 in the country for Return on Investment.
Alumni Networking Happy Hour, May 10, 2007
The School of Business sponsored a Business Alumni Happy Hour and Business Card Exchange on May 10th, in the RAT. Thanks to all who attended this very successful networking opportunity.
Dean Kirnan provided an important informational and strategic update on the School of Business, welcoming ideas on how alumni can get involved in our program. We look forward to future opportunities to meet with graduates of the School of Business.
