Andrew Carver is an Assistant Professor of finance at The College of
New Jersey's School of Business. He previously worked as an Equity
Research Analyst at Morningstar Inc., covering the banking sector.
Earlier in his career, he worked as an associate on the currency options
desk at NationsBanc-CRT, which later became part of Bank of America. His
work experience also includes internships at AXA Rosenberg Investment
Management and Eli Lilly’s decision science group. Carver's research and
teaching interests include capital budgeting, capital markets and
bankruptcy law. He graduated from Duke University with a B.S. in
mechanical engineering and economics, and earned his Ph.D. and M.S.
from the Department of Management Science and Engineering at Stanford
University. Andrew Carver is a CFA charterholder.
