Business Professions Program Requirements
The School of Business implemented the Business Professions Program in the Fall 2006 semester. All entering Freshmen will be required to participate in this exciting program. Structured workshops and activities will provide students with skills necessary to succeed in today's business environment. We highly recommend that all students complete an internship at some point during their academic program or career.

First Semester Freshman Year
- Resume Writing/Interviewing Skills
- Networking/Dining Etiquette/Social Interaction
- International Study Abroad
- Writing Guide
- Advising - Managing you course selection and getting to know your advisor
- Career/Major Decisions
Business Sophomore Colloquium
Second Semester Sophomore Year
- Weekly lectures by guest speakers - mandatory
- Business attire required
- Reflective Essay to be assigned
Comparative Essay on Ethics & Leadership
- Reflection on Sophomore Year Essay
Internship/Field Experience
- Intro to Internship/Field Experience – prerequisite
- Internship/Field Experience – prerequisite (minimum of 8 courses completed)
- Internships are highly recommended for all students
