A. In order to participate in the Education Interview Days (EID):
- Sign up to attend an EID Orientation Session by completing the on-line registration form or calling 609-771-2161. At this mandatory session, you will learn about EID participation and complete an EID Registration Form.
- Register in LionsLink.
- Strengthen your resume. To prepare for the mandatory Resume Review Process, you may wish to consult the Career Services Workshop schedule for Resume Writing Workshops and or participate in drop-in Resume Critique hours.
- Upload your professional resume into the LionsLink System before attending an Orientation Session.
- After your resume is uploaded in LionsLink, it will be critiqued by a career counselor. If your resume is approved, you will then be activated into LionsLink.
- Career Services will use the EID Registration Form (completed at the EID Orientation Session) and your approved resume to activate your name into the LionsLink system.
What Does ACTIVATION Mean? Activation enables you to submit your resume in LionsLink for consideration by individual recruiting school districts.
Note: You should complete the above steps well in advance, but you MUST complete them at least four days prior to the first resume submission deadline for which you would like to participate.
B. Electronically submit your resume to individual school districts, through LionsLink. Submit to each district that you are interested in.
C. Check LionsLink to see if you have been pre-selected for an interview and begin scheduling interviews. If you have been pre-selected, begin scheduling your interview through LionsLink.
D. Schedule for districts in which you were selected as an alternate. After preselected candidates have been given an opportunity to schedule an interview, students selected as alternates will have the opportunity to schedule an interview in any remaining time slots. Should there be no preselect students available to interview, alternate students will be expected to take remaining spots.
E. Complete the scheduling of your interview.
As stated previously, you will be able to begin scheduling interviews on the dates above.
