Scheduling Interviews Through LionsPro

On-Campus Interviews

Typically, interviews are 30-60 minutes in length and are held in Career Services or in Paul Loser Hall.

Education On-Campus Interviews

Education interviews are 20-45 minutes long and are held in the Brower Student Center.

Employer Choices in LionsPro Listings

Pre select Interviews

Most employers that recruit on campus hold PRESELECT interviews. In a pre select interview, the employer, based on the resumes students submitted, selects whom he/she would like to interview. Students choose interview times on-line.

Open Sign-Up Interviews

Some employers hold OPEN SIGN-UPS. In this situation, students simultaneously submit their resumes and schedule interview times. These interviews are scheduled on a first-come/first-served basis until the employer's schedule is filled.

Resume Drop Interviews

Some employers wish to solicit candidates through this system, but prefer that interviews be held at their site. They will participate as a RESUME DROP. Students submit their resumes through the on-line system, and wait to be contacted by the employer to schedule an interview.

Terms of Participation and Etiquette

• Students MUST interview with all employers for whom they have submitted their resume.
• Students are expected to attend all interviews. Failure to attend a scheduled interview will result in de-activation from the LionsPro system.
• If a problem arises, immediately contact Career Services by phone at (609) 771-2161.
• Upon accepting a job offer, inform Career Services and they will remove you from all subsequent interview opportunities.

Specifically for Education Majors

To accommodate the school district hiring needs and students' student teaching schedules, Education Interview Days will be held over 4 days in the spring semester.
