Thursdays: 8:30-10:00
Simon is a Catholic men's faith-sharing group. Each meeting is a great chance to hang out, laugh, and destress from the pressures of the week with other guys. We'll talk about anything and everything; a level of a video game you can't seem to beat, a class you're having difficulty in, struggles in your faith life, or even difficulties in a relationship with a friend or family. Everything shared is received with non-judgmental ears, confidentiality, and support.
This group was named after St. Simon of Cyrene, who helped Jesus carry his cross to Calvary. We chose him in hopes that he would serve as a reminder to us of our duty as Catholics and as men; that we might have the strength to bear other's crosses, and the humility to allow others to bear our own.
This group meets every week in the Townhouses South main lounge from 8:30-10:00 on Thursdays. If you need to come late or leave early, feel free!
