SESQUICENTENNIAL EVENTS AND DESIGNS GARNER TOP SPOTS FROM CASE

The College of New Jersey will be presented with three awards from the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) in February for its efforts during the 1855-2005 Sesquicentennial Celebration.

logoThe 2006 District Accolades Awards Program is designed to recognize its district members’ achievements in the areas of print, multimedia, marketing/communications, events, and program development.  CASE sponsors this program annually in order to enhance its participating educational institutions’ alumni relations, public relations, marketing, and fundraising professionals who participate in these services. The College belongs to District II, the largest of CASE’s eight districts, and contends with other institutions, such as Princeton University, the University of Pennsylvania, Cornell University, Rutgers, and the University of Maryland.

In the 2006 competition, the College received the Gold award in the category “Visual Design in Print: Logos/Nameplates” for the “Once We Were Normal” logo series. 

The College also won the Silver award in “Website: Publication/Special Purpose” for the Sesquicentennial website and the Bronze for the 2004-2005 Sesquicentennial Celebration in the “Special Events: Event Series” category.

The awards will be given at the District II Conference in Pittsburgh, February 4-7, 2006.
