TCNJ celebrated 20 years of Spirit Week as well as a big win against Western Conneticut, and those in attendance enjoyed performances by Synergy dance team, TCNJ's dance team, the Gospel Choir, the Trentones, and others.

President announces strategic initiatives for transforming tcnj over the next five years

TCNJ implements text messaging system for campus emergency and closure notifications

The College has implemented a text- and voice-messaging emergency-alert system that will let students, faculty, and staff sign up to receive text messages during campus emergencies and inclement weather. The system will also provide voice-message alerts to additional telephone numbers in most instances when it is implemented.

On October 24, TCNJ students, faculty, and staff joined counterparts from more than 300 other colleges and universities in the U.S. and Canada by taking part in the fifth annual Campus Sustainability Day Web cast. The online forum highlighted the achievements and challenges of instilling sustainability principles in higher education institutions and their surrounding communities.

The College of New Jersey and its four sister institutions in Mercer County have directly generated “hundreds of millions of dollars in wages and thousands of jobs” in the county and state, a recent report indicates. In addition, the report cites the College's many community outreach efforts.

 

 

 


Phi Beta Kappa Visiting Scholar Series Brings famed Physicist to campus

It’s not every day that students at TCNJ have the chance to attend a class taught by a world-renowned physicist, best-selling author, and Grammy nominee. But on Friday, October 26, students in Associate Professor of Physics Thulsi Wickramasinghe’s class did just that.

football photoTCNJ’s athletic teams have excelled this fall, capturing New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Championships in women’s tennis, women’s cross country, men’s cross country, football, field hockey, and women’s soccer. TCNJ is also sending teams to NCAA Division III Championship competition in field hockey, football, women’s soccer, women’s cross country, and men’s cross country.
