Dr. Joanne Billmers

  Ph.D. Organic Chemistry, Drexel University.
• Research
  Dr. Billmers can be found in the classrooms teaching Organic Chemistry, Nursing Chemistry, General Chemistry, and Sophomore Seminar. Her graduate research was in stereoselective oxidations of sulfoxides and selenoxides using chiral oxaziridines. She also has a strong knowledge of pharmaceuticals, having worked in the industry for ten years.

  Dr. Billmers' current interests include green chemistry, biodegradable materials and teacher education.
