Our performers for 2009 included:
Sensational Soul Cruisers
Always a crowd favorite, the Sensational Soul Cruisers is not just another 11 man vocal harmony group with horns. While it is still sometimes possible to find a band which features a similar line up of instruments, it is unlikely that you will ever find another that performs with as much energy, passion and talent as these guys…..Fortunately for those of us that feel that the sound of classic Philly Soul Motown, Disco, Stax and the music of Earth, Wind & Fire, Chicago and other such groups was and still is some of the best music ever recorded or played live, there will be plenty of chances to see the Sensational Soul Cruisers perform…..for many years to come
Miss Amy & Her Big Kids Band~ Fitness Rock & Roll Concert
Miss Amy is a spirited and lively singer/songwriter who grew up in Kansas.
Delighting multitudes of children and adults with her live shows, she has
appeared at numerous venues around NJ. Being a certified fitness instructor
for many years (AAAI/ISMA Primary Aerobic, Pre/Post-Natal, Yoga and Tai
Chi), along with being a family entertainer with four GRAMMY® submitted CDs,
Miss Amy has captivated audiences with her original songs that include
movements from actual health & fitness disciplines (dubbed "Fitness Rock &
Roll"). Participants at Miss Amy’s concerts get a workout without even
realizing it!
The Tone Rangers
Long time Community Fest performers, the Tone Rangers will close out the fun filled day with their mixed genre music. The Tone rangers like to mix it up with a little country, a little blues, and a little bit of rock and roll. Music from Dwight Yokum, B.B. King, the Allman Brothers Band and more. John, Bruce, Jose and Carmen are ready to come out and play for another year of musical fun.
