The College of New Jersey's Commencement is set for Friday, May 14, 2010 (apply for commencement now on PAWS) the last day to apply for commencement without a late fee is January 29, 2010.  Commencement is a wonderful celebration of your accomplishments and planning is underway to ensure a festive and enjoyable day for all.

Senior Week 2009

Senior Week begins on Tuesday May 12th and continues through Friday, May 15.  Please visit the Senior Week website http://tcnj.edu/~seniorwk , and the Class of 2009 website http://tcnj.edu/~class09 for more information.

TCNJ Commencement Reception Hosted by President Gitenstein

President Gitenstein will host TCNJ's Commencement Reception as part of Commencement 2009. The Reception will be held on Quimby’s Prairie starting at 8:30 a.m. Food and refreshments will be served throughout. Featured at the Reception will be the sounds of the Chris Clark Trio. The jazz trio features TCNJ's own Chris Clark, Professor of Bass. We are pleased to invite you and your guests to the festivities.

Main Ceremony

The Main Ceremony will be held at 11:00 a.m. in Lions' Stadium.  All details regarding the Procession, Conferring of Degrees, and Recessional will be available on this web site. Graduates are asked to begin lining up, in cap and gown, by 10:30.

Department Ceremonies

Department Ceremonies will take place before and after the Main Ceremony.  Morning Department Ceremonies will begin at 8:30 a.m. Afternoon Department Ceremonies will begin at 1:00 p.m.  Departmental Ceremonies will last approximately one hour. Learn about specific details on your Department Ceremony time and location.

Yearbooks

Yearbooks are still available for order at www.jostens.com/yearbook. Graduates, you will also have the opportunity to pick up your pre-ordered yearbooks at TCNJ's Commencement Reception Hosted by President Gitenstein located on Quimby's Prairie on Commencement Day.

Pre-paid Graduation Flowers

Bouquets of roses are available through pre-paid orders from Flowers for Graduation. The bouquets will be available for pick up on Commencement Day at TCNJ's Commencement Reception from 8:30 am - 1:30 pm, rain or shine. The distribution booth will be located under the tent near Kendall Hall on Quimbie's Prairie. After 1:30, bouquets may be picked up at the Biology Department. Bookstore

Please visit The College of New Jersey's Bookstore at TCNJ's Commencement Reception and Browser's Student Center.  They will be selling flower bouquets as well as TCNJ Alumni merchandise.

Legacy Photographics

Legacy Photographics will take portraits and family photos at the TNCJ Commencement Reception. You do not need to reserve a time or pre-purchase—simply find the photographer on Quimby's Prairie and have your picture taken in your cap and gown.
