Confidence in oral
presentaions is definitly something I took away from TCNJ. This has helped
greatly in performing well as a teacher's assistant. I
had only one oral
presentation in a class this semester at graduate school, but I'm sure I will
have more as I continue on. I worked for
the Academic
Enchancement and Tutoring
Center at TCNJ for 2 years. That was y
first real experience tutoring and I gained a lot of comfortableness with it.
Now, I tutor primarily
drop-in style at graduate school and I feel very confident, and I am able to
provide a great help almost 100% of the time.

TCNJ expects a lot from
its sutdents. If you work hard and succeed at TCNJ, I feel that you will be
well prepared for grad school or a job. You also
learn a lot about

One asset of TCNJ is the
wide range of extracurricular activities and organizations this institution
offers. I had the opportunity to
participate in
several organizations,
including LDP (the Leadership Development Program). Through LDP, I was able to strengthen my
leadership skills
including public
speaking, motivating members, working as a team, organizing major programs,
etc. All these skills will transfer
easily into my
future jobs, and I am
grateful for the experiences I had with LDP.

highly motivated students who not only desire to succeed themselves but strive
to assist their peers in succeeding.
Small
and interactive classes
are one of TCNJ's greatest assets, as are the numerous energetic teachers who
willingly go out of their way to help
students succeed. The curriculum is structured so that students
are exposed to a wide variety of disciplines while still having the flexibility
and
freedom to explore in
depth whatever fields they desire. In
addition, I feel that the Honors Program is a valuable asset to the school in
creating a
venue of discussion and
learning for some of TCNJ's most intellectually inclined students.

Best things about TCNJ
were the people. Most people were down
to earth and you knew you were at the same level as all of your peers. I could not
have honestly said that
about other schools like Princeton.

One of the best things
that TCNJ has to offer is the community within the college as well as the
community within the departments. Within
your
major you take classes
with the same people and the same professors and there is a real community that
is built and that has made this educational

I think that I got a
great education here. I also think that
I made the best friends of my life here, which says a lot for the school
community as well,
especially greek
life. TCNJ has great programs to get
involved outside of the classroom and I think that that has also enhanced my

I loved the campus at
TCNJ. I enjoyed being able to go outside
in the beautiful weather, I love being five minutes walking distance to all of
my
oncampus friends and the
convenience of route 1 and all it has to offer.
I also took away the idea that it's important to educate yourself in
many
different aspects not
just the one that you are majoring in. I
found this out through conversations with people who spent so much time in
major
oriented classes that
their views became skewed and they were bias no matter what the conversation
was about.
