a little about me
Hi there, my name is Jessica Corry and welcome to my personal website. I am a sophomore Journalism major and public health minor attending The College of New Jersey. My experience in the field of journalism includes a summer internship at the Daily Local News in Chester County, where I reported on various interests in the community, ranging from lyme disease and climate change to beekeepers and astronauts.
As the School of Science student writer throughout my sophomore year, I research, interview and write articles pertaining to student programs and grants funding faculty-student research within the School of Science for inclusion in the newly designed website. Career aspirations as of this moment include anything that can incorporate my passion for writing and reporting, whether that be at a traditional newspaper or an online news site. I am creative, personable, smart, funny, thorough, responsible, reliable and ambitious, I hope you enjoy learning more about me!
my mission statement
As a talented writer with a passion for science, I will strive to do my best to report with accuracy, truthfulness and coherence about developments not only in the world around me but especially the realm of healthcare, medicine and science. In a world where technology is ever-changing, my adaptability and willingness to learn new skills will prove indispensable. My motto will always be to strive to do my best, whatever the test may be.
