Devoted to the humanities and social sciences, the School strives to prepare students to assume leadership roles in their local communities, the state, the nation, and the world by fostering disciplinary and interdisciplinary understanding, global awareness, community engagement, and humane values. Culture and Society graduates benefit from the versatility and depth of the liberal arts, whatever pathway they may take as citizens and leaders of their communities.
