About Us
Delta Sigma Pi is a professional fraternity organized to foster the study of business in universities; to encourage scholarship, social activity and the association of students for their mutual advancement by research and practice; to promote closer affiliation between the commercial world and students of commerce, and to further a higher standard of commercial ethics and culture and the civic and commercial welfare of the community.
Delta Sigma Pi was founded in 1907 at New York University: School of Commerce, Accounts and Finance by Harold Valentine Jacobs, Alexander Frank Makay, Alfred Moysello, and Henry Albert Tienken. Today, coast to coast, more than 260 chapters and over 220,000 members support the goals and ideals of the Fraternity.
The Mu Omega Chapter of Delta Sigma Pi was founded at The College of New Jersey on May 22, 1993. We currently have 41 active brothers and 10 faculty brothers.
Mu Omega Chapter Mission Statement:
A committed and unified organization of students working to serve as the foremost model of professionalism and leadership development within the field of business at The College of New Jersey and surrounding areas.
Mission Statement of the Executive Board of the Mu Omega Chapter of Delta Sigma Pi:
To work as a cohesive unit to further the ideals, traditions, and history of the chapter while enhancing the professional, faculty, and alumni relations in order to help brothers graduate with a better standing in the world of business.
