The D&T Section is a special interest group made up of individuals who believe that the study of design is an integral part of technological education. Through the process of design students bring together knowledge, skills and attitudes about technology. The application of knowledge through design enables students to employ higher-level thinking skills as well as apply a range of technical skills.

The activities area is where you will find workshops and other activities of the D&T Section.
The resources area of the web site contains information, ideas, design problems and other instructional resources for use with elementary, middle/junior high school, high school and undergraduatel levels.
In news section we hope to provide you with updates from the field as well as a calendar of upcoming events of interest to design and technology teachers.
