Educational Specialist (EdS) in Marriage and Family Therapy (CPSJ)

The Educational Specialist (EdS) in Marriage and Family Therapy degree program is designed for master's level professional counselors who wish to pursue advanced study in marriage and family therapy. Based on their previous educational and supervised clinical experiences, students will be required to complete a minimum of 24 graduate credits in marriage and family therapy. Course work meets the educational requirements for licensure in marriage and family therapy in New Jersey.

All EdS applicants must hold a master's degree from a CACREP-approved counseling program, or its equivalent, and complete a departmental screening interview. All prerequisites must be met before entering the program.
