Field Placement Information for Faculty

Senior Student Teaching Placements

Students register on-line after department meetings are held in the fall semester, one year in advance of placement.  Placements are arranged by the STEP Office. Fall student teachers are informed of their placement by September and spring student teachers are informed of their placements by January 10. Graduate Internship Placements

Master of Arts in Teaching, Internship I - To be arranged in consultation with STEP Office during the summer prior to placement Students are placed during the fall semester. Internship II

Master of Arts in Teaching, Internship II - MAT students register for their internship II experience on-line during the summer and are placed in a school district during the spring semester. Students are informed of their placements by January 10. Special education MAT students are placed during the following fall semester (3rd semester of matriculation).
