Academic Policies
- Students are required to attend every class. It is the responsibility of parents/guardians to provide daily transportation to and from TCNJ. Please call Mr. Fieber at 609-771-3333 or e-mail him at fieber@tcnj.edu by 8 a.m. if you are unable to attend a daily session.
- Students are expected to be punctual for every class and program activity.
- Student attire is expected to be neat and appropriate in accordance with program activities. Unacceptable attire includes hats, flop flops (between the toes), revealing clothing, and cut off pants of any kind.
- Smoking or use of alcohol is prohibited.
- Walkman and other electronic devices with the exception of cell phones are not permitted.
- Cell phones must be turned-off during class sessions.
- Appropriate language is expected at all times.
- Students are expected to complete and submit assignments according to schedule.
- Students are expected to fully participate in class activities and view assignments as a reflection of their ability to produce excellent work.
- Courtesy and kindness are expected from everyone.
- Students are to remain with our program at all times and are not permitted to venture in to unauthorized areas of TCNJ’S campus.
- Email can be used for clarification of student assignments and sharing information, however, personal problems are best handled in person.
- Mr. Fieber reserves the right to terminate a student who fails to meet The Urban Academy expectations as set forth above.
