Welcome from the Interim Dean
To my good fortune, I recently agreed to serve as the Interim Dean of the School of Education here at TCNJ after former Dean Bill Behre accepted a position as Assistant Vice President in the TCNJ Advancement Office. I congratulate Dr. Behre on his new role, and I am proud to serve as Interim Dean as we search for a new, permanent dean and move forward with the important work of our school.
This is an exciting time for the School of Education. We have just completed a revision of all of our programs associated with our accreditation review by NCATE. In addition, The College recently started construction on a new, state-of-the-art building for the School of Education, and numerous members of our faculty have received recognition for their work as teacher-scholars. Taken together, these developments help us to continue our tradition of preparing the finest educational and mental health professionals in New Jersey through our teacher education and counselor education programs.
I welcome your association with the School of Education, whether you are a prospective or current student, an alumna or alumnus of TCNJ, a current or former faculty or staff member of our school, or a concerned citizen who cares about education issues and the wellbeing of others. Your presence here is always welcome!
Warmly,
Mark S. Kiselica
Interim Dean
