Emily Meixner (B.A.--English & French, Loras College ; M.A.--American Studies, Michigan State University; Ph.D.--Curriculum Theory & Multicultural Teacher Education, University of Wisconsin-Madison) is the coordinator of the Secondary English Education Program. She regularly teaches the secondary English methods courses and courses on young adult literature. Her research interests include teacher identity formation, GLBTQ young adult literature, and multicultural pre-service teacher preparation.
