Examination Process :
You will be expected to turn in your essays for the TEXT and THEME questions when you arrive for the exam. Responses should be typed and double-spaced. Answers to these two questions should be stapled together. Do not put your name on your responses. Instead, put your TCNJ ID number on the first page of each. Bring three (3) copies of each response.
You will have two hours to write the POETRY essay. All examinations are submitted anonymously, with your TCNJ ID number on them.
The response to each question should be 1500-2000 words. To keep your response within this limitation, be sure to offer analysis, not plot summary; assume your audience is familiar with the works you are discussing. In addition, quote very sparingly. Use MLA parenthetical citation form and attach a list of works cited.
