The laboratories form an integral part of the curriculum, providing an environment where students reinforce their understanding of the fundamental principles of Computer Engineering and apply that knowledge in experimental analysis and problem-solving. Facilities range from instructional laboratories to general purpose labs for faculty and undergraduate student research. All are used in the undergraduate program. Many are also used for research and student projects.

Along with engineering design, laboratories are critical in developing the work-oriented skills that are expected of a computer engineering graduate today. A partial list of laboratory facilities maintained by the Computer Engineering Program is shown on the right. You can see a brief description and a list of equipment available in each laboratory by clicking on the appropriate link.
