Civil Engineering Materials Laboratory

The Civil Engineering Materials Laboratory is equipped with laboratory equipment that supports simultaneous practice of up to three student groups. The laboratory is equipped with: a Forney FX600 compression testing machine fitted with digital load monitor, laboratory concrete mixers with three cubic feet capacity each, cement mortar mixer, cement mortar molds, Vicat apparatuses, Gillmore apparatuses, portable bench beam scales, large capacity sample splitters and an aggregate screen shaker, concrete vibrator, slump test sets, unit weight test sets, air content test sets, curing tanks, crack monitors, and a crack detection microscope.
