Accreditation

The College of New Jersey is accredited by the Commission on Higher Education of the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools, 3624 Market Street, Philedelphia, PA 19104, 215.662.5606. The Commission on Higher Education is an institutional accrediting agency recognized the U.S. Secretary of Education.

The Bachelor of Science programs in Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Engineering Science, are accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission (EAC) of ABET, 111 Market Place, Suite 1050, Baltimore, MD 21202-4012 - telephone: (410) 347-7700. EAC/ABET is the only accrediting agency for engineering programs in the United States.

The Technology Education and M/S/T Elementary Education programs offered by the Department of Technological Studies are accredited by the National Council of Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE) and meet all standards of the International Technology Education Association ITEA.
