The robotics laboratory has both commercial manipulators (SCORBOT ER-III, ARM-BASE ARH250) and self-designed binary manipulators for students to practice the theory, kinematics, control, and applications of robots. This laboratory also has LEGO Mindstorm robotics kits, Pittman motors with encoders, servo motors, Basic Stamp II microcontrollers, and various sensors for students to design and create their own robots and mechatronics systems.
