Engineering Management is a discipline designed to provide the individual with a solid base in sciences and a particular engineering discipline including the manufacturing and the management of technology, along with the knowledge in the areas of production, marketing, finance, and personnel. Through the integration of engineering and management education, students are prepared to work as program managers. They possess the technical knowledge to handle the problems that they will encounter, but they also have important knowledge in the areas of accounting, finance, production, marketing, and personnel that allows them to effectively use their technical knowledge in the operation of the corporation.
