The TCNJ Engineering
Scholarship Fund has been developed to provide:
A. to
a minimum of four incoming ENGINEERING freshmen a:

$1,000.00 scholarship for the first year.
-
scholarship to be awarded on a competitive, non-need
basis.
To be
considered for the award, the incoming freshman student
must:
-
be
admitted to The College of New Jersey in the
Department of Engineering.

preference will be given to applicants who are
nominated (by letter of recommendation) by either
the candidate’s high school principal, guidance
counselor, science teacher, math teacher, or a TCNJ
engineering alumni.
B. to two
sophomore engineering students (beginning AY 2003-04)
-
$1,000.00 scholarship for one year
-
scholarship to be awarded on a competitive basis.
Priority will be given to applicants that have great
financial need and a minimum 2.5 GPA in the major.
Financial need must be demonstrated with a letter
issued by the Office of Student Financial Services
stating that the student is eligible for
financial aid.

Scholarship, submit a letter of interest (please
indicate if your parents are TCNJ alumni) and a
recommendation letter (optional) by February 15 to:
