Eligibility
The EOF program is available to New Jersey residents who have a high school diploma or an equivalent degree. Qualified students must attend the required summer program and must enroll full time at TCNJ.
EOF students must come from families and/or communities disadvantaged by low income, high unemployment, a dependence upon welfare, substandard housing, or the lack of access to the quality educational preparation necessary for college. EOF students must also be academically motivated and meet the guidelines set by the New Jersey Commission on Higher Education.
Academic Eligibility
EOF eligibility will be determined after we have received your:
- Official high school transcripts
- SAT 1 scores
- Two letters of recommendation
- College essay
Other Eligibility
- You must be a New Jersey resident for at least 12 consecutive months
- You must be a first generation college student (your parents are not four-year college graduates)
- You must be a citizen or a permanent resident of the United States
Financial Eligibility
EOF eligibility will be determined after we have received your:
- Completed Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
- Income verification documentation needed to verify financial eligibility
- Qualification for New Jersey's Tuition Aid Grant (TAG)

To qualify for the EOF Program, you must also meet the following financial eligibility requirements as defined by the state:
