WHAT IS CAMP TROOP???

Camp Troop is a special summer camp experience for scouts whose home troop is not going to camp, for scouts who want to attend an EXTRA week of summer camp, or for scouts who simply LOVE Winnebago and want to spend their summer here at WSR.

Scouts form a special Provisional Troop of scouts, with adult leadership provided by the camp staff. These adults are 21+ leaders with years of troop experience. We provide the program, the leadership, the campsite, the scouting – all you do is provide
the scout!

Camp Troop functions as does any other troop at Winnebago and participates in all activities. Scouts have the same opportunities as all other scouts in camp including merit badges and special programs.
