Committees

Fundraising: local

Purpose: To organize all local fundraising efforts (i.e. Coldstone, canning dates, Mama Floras, etc) and be in direct contact with the treasurer to keep fund organized and accounted for.

Committee Chair: Kevin Dischino

Fundraising: foundation grants

Purpose: To research foundations who have funding sources available and find out if they support our cause. After research is done, go through application process for all foundations whose guidelines we meet. Members will be in direct contact with Keith Dewey’s Office of Corporate, Foundation, and Government Support as well as with Dr. Horst.

Professional Chapter Liaison

Purpose: To keep EWB-TCNJ in good standing with EWB-USA and TCNJ at both the student and higher levels. This includes correspondence with SGA and SFB at TCNJ regarding Print Sense, general club renewal policies each year, school funding, etc. Contact with EWB-USA should be made through our NE Regional Contact, Rosemary Powers, about updating our status with EWB-USA including all applications and fees.

Current Project Research

Purpose: To correspond with and assist the team doing design work for the current project with any help/research/information they may need. This is an especially great opportunity for members interested in pursuing the design of a project in the future. Chair will be in charge of informing underclassmen & general EWB members of opportunities to attend design meetings, lab work, etc.

Website

Purpose: To keep EWB, TCNJ, and the outside world updated about what we’re doing. This will aid in our ability to attract and convince sponsors that our establishment is credible and doing great things! It is also a great way to recruit new members and keep current members informed on news and upcoming events!
