Big news for TCNJ Ultimate. We now have a name:
TCNJ Revolution!
It's fitting for a team that is just finding its identity as a men's and women's team, and for a team that is just beginning to be taken as a serious competitor.
Plus, for all you history buffs out there, Trenton just happens to be the turning point of the American Revolution...

Well Shippensburg was a landmark for TCNJ Ultimate.
The women came out strong Saturday night under the lights. They registered their first win against SMUT on Saturday night. They then got their second and third wins against Shippensburg in dominating fashion. The women also had losses against Towson, in a very close game, and Georgetown to end their weekend 3-2 in games played. An exciting and successful weekend for the women and a first step forward into a great future as a team.
The men's team tore it up, going 3-1 on Saturday and winning their pool. The men had wins on Saturday against SMUT (13-4), PSU Behrend (13-1), and Catholic (13-4). They lost to Georgetown on universe point. Coming out Sunday the men beat Messiah in the quarters 12-5. They followed up in the semi's with a strong performance against the Ship Alumni who were fresh off a win against Shippensburg. The men beat Ship Alum 15-7 in a very fun and well spirited game. In the finals the men saw Catholic again and fought hard to come home with the championship after a 15-8 win! Victory!
An amazing weekend for our club. Both teams broke seed. The women won not only their first game but their first three and the men came home with their first away tournament championship. This tournament gives us a lot to look forward to this spring. Keep up the hard work over this winter and we will definitely turn some heads. We have become a competitive club who still have not reached our full potential, god help Princeton when we do.

Weekend Highlights:
-Jack's unfortunate underwear incedent.
-Ben skying Rob Dash for the final point against the Ship Alums.
-James and Dave storming the field after the women get their first win.
-And obviously, TCNJ WINNING THE CHAMPIONSHIP!

Well, folks, another TCNJ Ultimate home tournament has come and gone. It was an awesome tournament, and a great deal of fun was had by all. Congratulations to Hofstra on their win over Millersville in the finals!
So how did the ol' TCNJ team fare this weekend, you ask? Well we went 4-2, which is respectable. We would have liked to see a better placing (TCNJ tied for 5th), but we had some stiff competition, and that will only compel us to work harder in the future. On Saturday, TCNJ beat Rowan 12-4 and Montclair 10-9, but lost to Princton 10-8. In the first round of bracket play Saturday afternoon, TCNJ won by forfeit. Sunday morning brought another game against Princton, TCNJ this time going down 13-8. TCNJ ended the tournament on a high note, soundly beating Villanova 15-4.
Weekend Highlights:
Ross getting a Callahan against Princeton. On man defense.
The freshmen (plus Matt and Josh) going 3-1 against Villanova.
Robert Dash likes to yell.
Dave wasn't gonna give that to them twice.
Our good friend Scott Shelton has the coolest TD hat ever.

TCNJ rocked the house in Virginia over the weekend. The men came out strong Saturday, winning all 4 games (Brookdale 13-7, UNC Greensboro 13-3, Richmond 11-6 and Villanova 13-8) in pool play and landing a bye to the quarter-finals. TCNJ scored another victory in the quarters over Villanova, this time 13-5, sending us to the semi-finals. Our men then ended their weekend with a hard fought loss to Towson 13-7 in the semifinals.
The short-handed women played hard the entire weekend (they played with 2 substitutes the whole weekend). Although they may not have gotten their first win, they played extremely well and are really picking up momentum in their first year.
Weekend Highlights:
Travis and Dave both getting Callahans.
The ladies fighting back against Radford with 5 unanswered points, leading Radford to call a hardcap to preserve their lead.
The freshman playing hard in their first tournament.
Fantasy ultimate is kinda creepy.
The biggest turnaround in ultimate history by James.
