Order of the Crimson Coast held a renaissance faire this weekend in Lehighton, Pa. Needless to say, OGL made an appearance.
Our infamous member, "Trench," characterized the event as "epic."

Markland is having a meeting which OGL will be attending on Saturday August 23, 2008 in Bear, DE (1.5 hrs outside of TCNJ)

They discuss rule changes for frat fighting and elect members for Markland positions. You'll have to be a Markland member (student discounts!) to vote, but if you just want to stick along to see how the background of Markland works, that's fine too. We attend many of their private activities such as their feast and camping at West Windsor Renn Faire.

It's been a fair stretch of time since out last post, but fear not. Nonexistent reports of our demise have yet to be exaggerated!

Our last activity was a belt making workshop that went well. Tools, leather, and a souvenir. What more could you ask for?

Order of the Golden Lion will be presenting a free leatherworking workshop. Impress your friends by making your own belt! The event is FREE and will run for 5-7 PM on April 25th in Eickoff 113. Its the room directly to the left of the lakeside side dining hall doors. Come out for a great time! SAF funded.

Ten members of OGL went horseback riding at Silver Bit & Spur in Whitehouse Station, NJ. A good time for all!

A contingent of members from the Order of the Golden Lion attended Markland's Feast of Plenty on January 26th. Unfortunately, our camera was broken, so we only got a few pictures. There was quite a turnout and many stayed later for the dancing.

Meetings for the Spring 2008 Semester will be held Wednesdays at 6:00pm in Eickoff 118. This semester we're looking at running several workshops including a drop-spindle demo and leather working.
