Regional Training Center Professional Development for Teachers

The School of Education at The College of New Jersey is partnered with the Regional Training Center (RTC) in order to:

1) Provide graduate-level professional development courses--for a course listing, click here.

2) Provide courses leading to a Master of Education in Educational Leadership: Instruction (for licensed practitioners).

Virtual Orientation for Newly Admitted Students

TCNJ ID and Account Information

Beginning July 1, 2009 ALL students (professional development and master's level) will need to know their PAWS ID number and TCNJ account information. For more on how to obtain this important information, click here.

Official Transcript Request Information

Official transcripts are available six weeks after the completion of an TCNJ/RTC course. Beginning July 1, 2009, transcript requests need to be submitted through PAWS. Click for our 6 Easy Steps - Transcript Request instruction sheet.

If you are experiencing any technical difficulty with your transcript request, please print, complete, and fax the paper form to 609.637.5184.

Overview of Partnership

This affiliation merges TCNJ's excellent reputation in higher education with the Regional Training Center's comprehensive relevant course work.

All courses carry graduate credit in teacher education from The College of New Jersey. Students who are interested in applying for matriculation into the Master of Education in Educational Leadership: Instruction should see the Frequently Asked Questions document listed below for information on transfer and use of previous coursework.

Students who apply for matriculation into one of TCNJ's other Master of Education programs may apply a maximum of six credits of RTC coursework as elective credit, pending approval by the graduate program coordinator.

Elective credit requirements vary by specialization and students must contact their graduate program coordinator prior to registration for course approval.
