NINTH TEAM DESIGN PROBLEM
ASSIGNMENT
(ASSEMBLY FUNDAMENTALS)
1. Create (in teams of two students) the assembly drawing pictured below.
2. Use metric units of measure.
3. Assign a different color to each part.
4. Make sure that the
assembly includes two bushings, two washers,
one base plate, four bolts, one pulley, one axle,
two brackets and two
"L" bracket subassemblies.
5 Align all holes and bolts plus the keyway, axle, pulley, washers, bushings and brackets.
6. Orient the assembly as illustrated below (isometric).
7. Design the assembly so it looks like the following item.
8. Shade the finished object.
9. Place the object on
the screen for evaluation.
NOTE: If the design object is not in proportion, is not of the proper appearance or
is not properly oriented, the assignment will be considered not complete.
A failing grade will be awarded.
