Featured Internship - [3/29/11] Two Summer Sarnoff Museum Research Assistant Positions Available The new Sarnoff Museum at TCNJ is looking for two research assistants to help catalog and photograph the entire collection before the museum opens to the public next year. David Sarnoff was the longtime leader of Radio Corporation of America (RCA). The museum highlights the history of electronic & communications innovation including early examples of TV, video cameras, radio, micro electronics, LCDs, and computers. The time period for the position will be from June 6-July 29, 2011, as part of the Mentored Undergraduate Summer Experience (MUSE) Program. A $2,500+ stipend and on-campus housing will be provided. The Museum provides unique learning experiences for students seeking to gain practical training related to their field of study or professional interests. Specific programs are geared to students in high school, university, professional schools, and the U.S. Military, Naval, and Air Force Academies.
General internships are offered on a rolling basis according to department need.

> Internship with the Department of Historic Trades at George Washington's Mount Vernon Estate
The Department of Historic Trades at George Washington's Mount Vernon Estate is currently accepting applications for its George Washington: Entrepreneur Internship program. Internships are offered at two living history sites: George Washington: Pioneer Farmer site or George Washington's Distillery & Gristmill . These residential internships will run from June 6 through August 12, 2011. Open to college students, ages 18-22, these internships are highly competitive. Mount Vernon will select up to six students to participate during the summer 2011. All students accepted into the program will receive round-trip transportation to Mount Vernon, housing on the estate, and a weekly stipend of $200. Completed applications must be returned to Mount Vernon by February 15, 2011 for consideration. For a full description of the program, click here.
