A Structure of the Past?
During the 19th century, Europe
divided Africa amongst itself and imposed imperial rule over its
inhabitants. Africans were enslaved, murdered, and exploited for European
economic gain. While most countries no longer physically possess colonies,
has imperialism really ended?
