For years I was a scout myself
from Cub Scouts to Explorers.
And once we had to share our camp
with girls - much to our horrors.

But puberty did change all of that,
and girls became our quest.
So when we found the Girl Scout Camp
we insured they had no rest.

The games we played were not in vogue
with those who supervised us.
So when they learned about our pranks,
they did raise quite a fuss.

But as years went by, my outlook changed,
about the birds and the bees.
And now when I hear someone say "Girl Scouts"
I think of - well - "Cookies".

NOTE: The ranch had a group of girl scouts for a week and I had to write something for them.
