Required Documents

In order to complete the hiring process and be authorized to start work at The College of New Jersey the following documents must be completed, signed and returned to Human Resources prior to your first day of service:

1. Contract Letter

The signed contract letter makes official your acceptance of employment at The College of New Jersey and along with a valid I-9 form provides authorized access to The College.

2. I-9 Form: Employment Eligibility Verification Form pdf icon

All employment candidates must complete Section 1 of the form, and bring acceptable documentation (as detailed on list A, B and C) directly to Human Resources before authorization to begin employment will be granted.

3. W-4 Form: Employee's Withholding Allowance Certificate pdf icon

Employment candidates who do not submit this form will have withholding deductions defaulted to the highest tax rate.

4. Affidavit of Pension Form Word Document

Please answer all questions and sign.

5. Social Security Card

If you are using your SS card for List C of the I-9 Form, then you must bring the original with you to the Human Resources Office (see I-9 instructions above).

If you are not using the SS card for I-9 verification you must make a copy of your social security card and return with the above forms. If you do not have a SS card you must obtain one from the SS Administration.

7. Acknowledgment of Receipt of New Jersey State Policy Prohibiting Discrimination Harassment or Hostile Environments in the Workplace Form
