INK, The College of New Jersey's student-run creative writing organization, supports the literary and creative writing community at the college by hosting meetings, workshops, and events. Group meetings take place every Wednesday at 2:00 in the Bliss Hall lounge.

Meetings
ink meetings take place every Wednesday at 2pm in Bliss Lounge. We sometimes hold workshop meetings, where we workshop writing from ink members. Each meeting begins with a fun creative writing exercise, so come prepared to write!

Master Series with Ben Marcus
Join ink in the first installment of the Master Series as author Ben Marcus reads his work, lectures, and answers audience questions. Marcus has just published his latest novel, The Flame Alphabet this past January. The event will take place Tuesday, February 21 at 6:30 PM in the Library Auditorium. A reception will follow the event, where books can be purchased and signed.

Student Reading Series
Our Spring 2012 SRS will take place on Thursday, March 22 at 8:30 PM in the Library Auditorium. We are accepting applications until Saturday, March 3 at midnight. Download the application here.

Master Series with Jen Bervin
Join ink in the second installment of the Master Series as poet and visual artist Jen Bervin reads her original work and answers audience questions. The event will take place Monday, March 19 at 8:00 PM in the Library Auditorium. A reception will follow the event, where books can be purchased and signed.

Professor Reading Series
Our Spring 2012 PRS will take place on Tuesday April 3 at 4:00 PM in the Library Auditorium. Professor Lois Harrod will be reading her original poetry and a reception will follow the event, where light refreshments will be served.

The Goods, featuring Sam Pink
Join us at The Goods, an all-day celebration of student arts taking place on Saturday, April 21 from 12 PM to 8 PM. From 12 to 7, student performers will take the stage, sharing original poetry, fiction, and other writing, as well as performing music or any other form of creative expression. At 7 PM, headlining poet Sam Pink will read his original work and answer audience questions. Applications are due Friday, April 13 at midnight. Download the application here.
