About ink
ink is an organization that supports the literary and creative writing community at The College of New Jersey (TCNJ). We're a club for those interested in the literary world both at TCNJ and beyond. Our membership is composed of both creative writers and those who love them. Our mission is not only to promote a social atmosphere for writers and readers but also to provide support and a source of confidence to individual writers interested in exploring their craft.
We fulfill our mission in many ways. Programs and events like the Student Reading Series (SRS), the Visiting Writers Series (VWS), and the campus-wide arts festival "The Goods" are a few ways ink is strengthening the literary community at TCNJ. Our members benefit from field trips, workshops and weekly meetings as well. ink is an organization that supports the literary and creative writing community at TCNJ. There are many ways to get involved in ink and the TCNJ literary community. By coming to our weekly meetings, you can participate in workshops and assist with the behind-the-scenes of our events including hosting and coordinating these events and helping with publicity. We also encourage everyone, club member or not, to sign up to read their original work at our events. Or, if you'd rather come to events only to soak up the atmosphere, don't be shy: Come listen, learn, and discuss with us!
